Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AskPilot platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and AskPilot ("we", "us", or "our"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Service Description
AskPilot is an AI-powered knowledge management platform that allows organizations to:
- Upload and organize internal knowledge (documents, SOPs, manuals)
- Provide AI-powered answers to employees' questions in natural language
- Manage team roles and access to knowledge bases
- Track and analyze employee questions and knowledge usage
3. Account Registration and Security
To use AskPilot, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use AskPilot for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. In particular, you must not:
- Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
- Upload illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the source code of the platform
- Use the Service to develop competing products or services
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data
5. Intellectual Property
The AskPilot platform, including its software, design, branding, and technology, is the exclusive property of AskPilot and is protected by intellectual property laws in Brazil and internationally.
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the platform for its intended purpose during the subscription period.
6. User Content
You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to the platform ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant AskPilot a limited license to process, store, and use it solely to provide and improve the Service for your organization.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. AskPilot does not monitor or moderate uploaded content.
7. AI-Generated Responses Disclaimer
AskPilot uses artificial intelligence to generate responses based on the knowledge uploaded by your organization. AI responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information.
AskPilot does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated responses. Users should always verify critical information through official channels. AskPilot shall not be liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
8. Payment and Subscriptions
Paid features are subject to the following conditions:
- Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- Prices may be changed with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle
- Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except as required by consumer protection laws
- Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings. AskPilot may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to make payments, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or legitimate business purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskPilot shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to AskPilot in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
For users in Brazil: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, including the Brazilian Consumer Code (CDC), the Brazilian Civil Code, and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the User's domicile, as guaranteed by the CDC.
For users outside Brazil: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation first, and if unresolved, submitted to the courts of São Paulo, Brazil, unless your local consumer protection laws grant you a more favorable jurisdiction.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or through the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
